James Banks - 
Single Cover

I was approached by James Banks, a singer/songwriter from South Yorkshire, to create a bespoke digital illustration for his new single cover, which has been used on his Spotify, and Apple Music profiles.

James had previously seen my illustration style promoted via my social media platforms, and was keen to get a bespoke piece made for his new release.

​

I was tasked with combining a neon light with an image of himself and his friend. 

I had never created a neon affect digitally before, a challenge I embraced and achieved.

 

After creating the illustration of the couple, I had to adjust the lighting to create the illusion that they were in the same room as the pink neon light.

After a few attempts to get the correct shades and tones, I successfully created this environment.

James was incredibly happy with the piece, and felt that the brief had been executed perfectly.
